on August 12, 2012 at 8:34 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a crash in the 2500 block of South Market Street, Mechanicsburg. Officers responded to find a Cadillac that had driven off the roadway and came to a stop in some brush down a small embankment. Myron Smay was identified as the operator of the Cadillac and was not injured in the crash. Smay was determined to be Under the Influence of Alcohol and was subsequently arrested. Smay was transported to the Cumberland County Prison where he was processed and released. Charges for Smay will be handled via summons. Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene of the crash by the Upper Allen Fire Department, West Shore EMS, and Fire Police.
