On August 15, 2012 at approximately 10:15 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Mill Road, Mechanicsburg for a fight. Upon arrival, it was determined the fight was between Jamie Avery and his father. The fight began outside the residence and then continued inside until police were called. Avery’s father sustained injuries to his head and elbow. Jamie Avery was then arrested for the above charges and transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date before District Judge Donald Howell.
