On September 10, 2012 at 12:31 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to the Weis Markets on Bumble Bee Hollow Road, Mechanicsburg for a reported theft. Officers met with store personnel and were informed that they discovered that Ellis, an employee of the store, had been stealing cash and merchandise from the store since the early part of June 2012. Ellis was arrested at the scene and taken to Cumberland County Prison for processing. Charges will be handled via summons and preliminary hearing will be scheduled for a later date before Magisterial District Judge Donald Howell.
