On December 30, 2013 Upper Allen Township Police received a report that a car was stolen from a business in 500 block of Independence Avenue while the victim was working. Police learned that Jackson had been working the same day at the same location as the victim and stole the car. After Jackson fled in the car, he later crashed it the same day in Camp Hill and ran on foot after taking personal items of the victim from the car. Jackson then contacted the victim and demanded access to the credit cards he stole from the car. Police obtained a warrant for Jackson and on January 14, 2014 arrested him at a residence in Steelton, PA. Jackson was arraigned by District Judge Charles Clement and committed to Cumberland County Prison under $25,000.00 bail. At the time of arrest, Jackson was out on bail for similar charges out of Dauphin County. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date before Magisterial District Judge Mark Martin.
