Camp Hill man arrested for Robbery

The Upper Allen Township Police responded to the 500 block of Geneva Drive on July 15, 2010 for a report of a stolen vehicle. Officers met with the victim who indicated an ex-boyfriend came to the residence and stole her car. The ex-boyfriend, identified as Donnelle Bates, reportedly came to the residence and forcibly took the car keys from the victim. Bates then left the residence in the car and kept the car until he notified the victim by phone where she could retrieve the car. Officers obtained an arrest warrant for Bates. Bates was located in the 500 block of Geneva Drive on July 19, 2010. Bates was arrested and taken to the Cumberland County Prison where he was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Susan Day. Bates was committed to the Cumberland County Prison with $5,000.00 bail. Bates will have a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Mark Martin on July, 26, 2010.
