Upper Allen Police responded to a crash involving a bicycle and an automobile at the intersection of Coventry Drive and Canterbury Drive on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:47AM. The investigation revealed that the bicyclist, Peter Gutshall, was unable to slow down to negotiate a turn. The bicycle struck the side of the automobile. Gutshall was thrown from the bicycle onto the windshield of the automobile. Gutshall suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Hershey Medical Center by West Shore EMS.
