– Our Patch
The patch indicates that Upper Allen Township was formed in 1850 and it is divided into four sections:
History: The covered bridge represents our rich heritage (actual bridge at Messiah College campus).
Church: The church represents a strong religious conviction in the township.
Farm: The farm represents our agricultural heritage.
Factory: The factory represents our growth in industry.
Collectors may purchase our patch for $3.50 by sending a check and a self-addressed stamped standard business size envelope (include sufficient postage for 1 ounce mail) to:
