On March 27, 2010 at approximately 5:01 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Independence Avenue for a single vehicle auto accident. Officers arrived on the scene and found a vehicle down a small embankment. The operator of the vehicle, Wright, stated that he was coming around a slight curve on Independence Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and went off of the roadway. Wright was transported to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Upper Allen Police were assisted on scene by West Shore EMS and Upper Allen Fire Department.
