In June of 2022, Upper Allen Police were contacted by a local business that reported a suspect had stolen items from the store on multiple occasions during the months of April and May of 2022. Kathy Ammerman was identified as the suspect and charges were filed. Ammerman’s preliminary hearing was held on October 27, 2022 where she pled guilty to retail theft.
