On Thursday, March 9, 2023, at approximately 11:05 PM, Upper Allen Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle speeding in excess of 100 miles per hour while on US Route 15. An investigation revealed that a passenger, Essence Aranda, was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was cited for speeding. Aranda was arrested and transported to Cumberland County Central Booking for processing. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
