On February 2, 2023, a victim in Upper Allen Township received a notification from her bank that her debit card was used for fuel at a gas station in Lehigh County. An investigation revealed that Denis-Millet was working through an organized crime ring to utilize stolen bank card information for diesel fuel which was stored in a modified truck designed for concealing large amounts of fuel. Numerous police agencies were involved in the investigation into Denis-Millet, who was arrested in Cumberland County in March. Upper Allen Township, Mechanicsburg Borough, Hampden Township, and the Pennsylvania State Police were among the agencies involved in the investigation. On March 16, 2023, a preliminary hearing was scheduled and the charges were waived to the Court of Common Pleas.
