On Friday, April 5, 2023, At approximately 3:30 p.m. Upper Allen Police responded to the intersection of South Market Street and West Lisburn Road for a two vehicle crash with injuries. The investigation determined that the operator of the black Ford Escape traveling south on South Market Street failed to recognize the steady red traffic signal. The Escape entered the intersection and struck a blue Toyota Camry traveling west on West Lisburn Road with a steady green signal. The collision caused moderate damage to both vehicles and injured one of the drivers.
The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department and Life Lion EMS.
