On Thursday, September 24, 2023, Upper Allen Police executed a search warrant at a residence in Upper Allen Township. Miguel Kardis and Shaianne Burnett were present in the home and were found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Criminal charges were handled via summons. On November 9, 2023, preliminary hearings were held for both Kardis and Burnett, where they both plead guilty to a lesser offense.
