On Sunday, December 3, 2023, at approximately 8:20 PM, the Upper Allen Police responded to the intersection of East Lisburn Road and Mt. Allen Drive for a two-vehicle crash with injuries. The investigation revealed that the driver of the Ford Explorer was traveling too fast for the weather conditions and lost control of their vehicle, entering the travel path of the Nissan Rogue. A juvenile passenger of the Ford Explorer and two occupants of the Nissan Rogue reported injuries and were transported to a local hospital for an evaluation. The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police, and Life Lion EMS.
