On June 7, 2024, at 9:26 pm, the Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a two vehicle crash on South Market Street at the entrance to US Route 15 North. The investigation determined that a silver Toyota Corolla attempted to turn left onto US Route 15 and turned into the path of a gray Hyundai Sonata traveling straight on South Market Street. The Hyundai struck the Toyota causing disabling damage to both vehicles. The single occupant of the Toyota and both occupants of the Hyundai sustained injury and were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The Upper Allen Police Department was assisted at the crash scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police and Life Lion EMS.
