On Sunday, June 4, 2023, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the intersection of Nittany Drive and Spring Run Drive for the report of a fight. A subsequent investigation determined that the defendant, Bethany Alvalle, had engaged in a mutual fight with another person. At the conclusion of the fight, Alvalle retrieved pepper spray and sprayed two people on scene. Alvalle was charged and a preliminary hearing was held on Thursday, June 13, 2024. At the hearing, Alvalle pled guilty to lesser offenses.
