On Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 5:56 PM, the Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Market Street for a report of a three vehicle traffic accident. The investigation determined that the driver of a white Volkswagen SUV was unable to brake for stopped traffic. The vehicle then struck a white Hyundai SUV, which was pushed into a black GMC pickup truck. The driver of the Volkswagen reported minor injuries and was later transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Upper Allen Police were assisted on scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department and the Upper Allen Fire Police.
