On September 14, 2024, Upper Allen Police investigated an incident involving Owen Bender striking another male in the face. The altercation resulted in the victim sustaining a broken jaw. Charges were filed against Bender and resulted in the issuance of an arrest warrant. Bender was arrested and arraigned on the warrant on October 28. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for a later date.
