On Friday, January 3, 2025 at about 8:38 p.m., Upper Allen Police were called to the report of a multi-vehicle crash on the on-ramp from W. Lisburn Road to US Route 15 North. The investigation determined that a Jeep Renegade had become disabled on the shoulder of the roadway. While the operator of the Jeep was out of the vehicle checking for possible damages, the driver of a Lincoln Town Car lost control of his vehicle and struck the operator of the Jeep and his vehicle. The operator of the Lincoln Town Car left the scene without providing information or rendering aid. The operator of the Jeep suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital by Life Lion EMS. Upper Allen Police were also assisted on scene by Upper Allen Fire Department.
With the assistance of other police agencies, the hit and run suspect has been identified and further information will be released on a later date.
