Wrong-Way Driver on US Route 15 Leaves Multiple People Injured

On Friday, January 17, 2025, at approximately 4:40 PM, Police were notified of a wrong-way driver traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of US Route 15 North near mile marker 41.5.

A short time later, Dispatch advised that a serious crash occurred on US Route 15 North near mile marker 37.0. Upon arriving, police determined that at least four vehicles were struck by the wrong-way driver. Four of the involved vehicles suffered disabling damage. Parts of both US Route 15 North and South were shut down to assist in the investigation and ensure victim safety.

As a result of the crash, multiple individuals suffered serious injuries and have been transported to local hospitals for treatment. Of those injured, one patient was transported via medical helicopter.

The investigation into the crash is active and on-going. Police believe there may be additional witnesses or victims that have information related to the crash.
