In January 2025, Upper Allen Police began investigating a retail theft at a local business. Police determined that the defendant, Crystal Garay, transported another individual to and from the business where the theft occurred and then tried to sell the stolen merchandise online. A preliminary hearing was held on April 10, 2025, and the charges were bound over to the Court of Common Pleas.
