On April 8, 2025, at 9:20 AM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Allendale Road for an active assault involving a knife. Upon arrival, police learned that Melvin Sheppard threatened a neighbor while holding a knife. Charges were filed and a preliminary hearing was held on July 3, 2025.
