On June 3, 2025, Upper Allen Police received a report of a theft from a township retailer. An investigation determined that Nishesh Singal entered the store, filled a bag with various merchandise, and then exited the store without paying. Singal was seen on video surveillance leaving the store with the bag of items. With assistance from the Haverford Township Police, he was later located in possession of the stolen goods.
On Wednesday, July 1, an arrest warrant was obtained, and Singal was taken into custody. He was arraigned and subsequently released on bail. A preliminary hearing will be scheduled at a later date.
