On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Upper Allen Police attended Silver Spring Township Police Department’s annual female mentorship event held at Pink Hands of Hope in Mechanicsburg. Every year, this event pairs local law enforcement professionals with female students from the Cumberland/Perry Vo-Tech Criminal Justice program. This year there were Police Officers, State Troopers, 911 Dispatchers, CSOs, Corrections Officers, Adult Probation, and Sheriffs Deputies who participated in this event. The Law Enforcement professionals were able to talk with female students and answer their questions about all the careers that are available in law enforcement. The rest of day was spent shopping with the students at Pink Hands of Hope, which is a non-profit organization committed to supporting those fighting breast cancer in Central Pennsylvania.
