Mechanicsburg Teen Arrested for a Series of Residential Burglaries and Car Break-ins

Between August 16, 2017 and August 20, 2017, the Upper Allen Township Police received multiple reports from residents that their houses and/or vehicles had been entered overnight and property was stolen. The prior news releases can be seen here and here, as well as several others. There were fifteen crime scenes in total from Canterbury Estates, Meadowview, Braeburn Estates and the Winding Hills developments and over $6,000 in property was stolen. Officers interviewed residents in those neighborhoods and collected evidence at the crime scene locations. After an extensive investigation police determined that one of the suspects involved was Keondre Hudson. An arrest warrant was obtained for Hudson who was arrested at his residence on October 31, 2017. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date before District Judge Mark Martin. The investigation is ongoing.

***UPDATE November 20, 2017***
During the continuing investigation of this case, Upper Allen Police identified two additional individuals who were with Hudson during some of the attempted burglaries and thefts. Both are juveniles who reside in Upper Allen Township. Both were charged with Loitering and Prowling at Night and the charges were filed through the juvenile court system. Police are still investigating additional tips that they have received for this case.
