On Friday, September 21, 2018 the Upper Allen Police investigated a hit and run crash at 4 Broadmoor Drive. The investigation revealed that between 1:30 PM and 5:00 PM, an unknown vehicle traveling on Wineberry Drive was driving too fast to safely and properly negotiate the right-hand turn onto Broadmoor Drive. This resulted in the vehicle crossing the oncoming traffic lane, leaving the roadway and driving across the property of 4 Broadmoor Drive. In doing so, the vehicle struck the mailbox at that residence. The vehicle then fled the scene without providing any identifying information to the property owner.
The Upper Allen Police are asking for assistance in identifying the striking vehicle and the operator. Anyone with information about this vehicle or the operator are asked to contact Upper Allen Police at 717-238-9676 or submit an anonymous tip at 717-850-8273.
