On Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 5:15 AM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to US Route 15 North over South Market Street. An investigation revealed that Ireland was traveling at a high rate of speed and rear-ended Hobson’s vehicle. Ireland’s vehicle then hit the barrier on the shoulder and then hit the center barrier. The collision caused disabling damage to Hobson’s and Ireland’s vehicle. Ireland had minor injuries. Upper Allen Police were assisted on scene by Geisinger Holy Spirit EMS, Upper Allen Fire Department and Hess Garage.
