On Tuesday, August 6, Upper Allen Police participated in the annual National Night Out event. On this evening once a year, township residents are encouraged to spend time out front meeting their neighbors and building stronger community relations. Upper Allen Bike Officers rode through numerous neighborhoods saying hello to the citizens of Upper Allen, and more officers were driving through in their patrol vehicles.
Upper Allen Police were also invited to attend the 11th annual Ice Cream Social event at the Winding Hills Pool and Clubhouse in conjunction with National Night Out.
The police department always looks forward for the opportunity to positively engage with the community.
