On Monday, September 9, 2019 at approximately 4:20 PM, the Upper Allen Police responded to the intersection of South Market Street and West Winding Hill Road for a vehicle crash with injuries. The investigation revealed that Forbes turned his delivery truck left in the intersection when Beck had the right-of-way. Beck was able to avoid a head-on collision but the front corner of her vehicle still struck Forbes’ vehicle, causing disabling damage. Beck was treated and transported by EMS to a local hospital for injuries sustained as a result of the crash.
The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police, Geisinger Holy Spirit EMS and Lower Allen Township EMS.
