On November 5, 2019 at approximately 9:30 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Hertzler Road and Allenview Drive. An investigation determined that Leach failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Harvest Drive and Hertzler Drive. Mowery was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision and crashed into the passenger side of Leach’s vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Zimmerman’s Automotive. Two passengers in Leach’s vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries. A rear seat passenger was transported to the hospital by Geisinger Holy Spirit EMS. Upper Allen Police were assisted on scene by Geisinger Holy Spirit EMS, Upper Allen Township Fire Department, and Zimmerman’s Automotive.
