On Monday, November 18, 2019, the Upper Allen Police were invited to attend the Upper Allen Women’s Club meeting to speak about domestic violence. Topics covered included domestic violence statistics for Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County domestic violence statistics, and personal experiences of police officers responding to and investigating domestic violence incidents. Additionally, the Upper Allen Township Police provided information to the attendees in regards to services that are available for victims of domestic violence. Our department was grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Upper Allen Women’s Club to provide this important information.
