On Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 7:29 AM, the Upper Allen Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of East Lisburn Road and McCormick Road. The investigation determined Landis was traveling too fast for the wet roadway conditions and crossed the center lane and struck Sweitzer’s vehicle traveling in the opposite travel lane. Sweitzer reported injuries from the crash, was evaluated by EMS and transported to an area hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to the extent of the damage.
The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Lower Allen Fire Department and Geisinger Holy Spirit EMS.
