On Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at approximately 4:15 PM the Upper Allen Police responded to the intersection of South Market Street and Aspen Drive for a two vehicle crash which was blocking the roadway. The investigation revealed a driver pulled out from the stop sign on Aspen Drive onto South Market Street into the path of the other vehicle, which was traveling north on South Market Street. The crash caused severe damage to both vehicles and blocked the roadway for a short period of time. Both operators reported minor injuries, but refused transport by EMS.
The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the crash by the Upper Allen Fire Police, Upper Allen Fire Department, Penn State Health Life Lion EMS and Zimmerman’s Automotive.
