On Friday, September 10th at approximately 9:30 AM the Upper Allen Township Police responded to the intersection of S. York Street and W. Winding Hill Road for a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. The investigation revealed that a driver of an automobile was turning left onto W. Winding Hill Road from S. York Street, which was in the direct path of a motorcycle that was traveling in the opposite direction on S. York Street. The motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle and he sustained injury and the motorcycle was disabled.
The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the crash by the Upper Allen Fire Police, Upper Allen Fire Department, Penn State Health Life Lion EMS and Hess Garage.
