Evening Residential Burglary in Stonehedge neighborhood

In the late afternoon/evening hours of January 12, 2010 unknown persons forcefully entered a residence in the 300 block of Stonehedge Lane. Once inside, various items belonging to the occupants to include clothing and computers were taken. A white passenger car, possibly foreign made was seen in the area around the time of the burglary and could possibly be involved in the commission of the crime. Police Seek Identity of Hit and Run Driver

On January 8, 2010 at about 5:45 PM, Upper Allen Police investigated a multi-vehicle crash on the off-ramp to Route 114 from US Route 15 south. No one was injured as a result of the crash but it was determined that the driver at fault fled the scene. The driver was last seen driving north on South Market Street. The suspect vehicle is described as being a dark in color Jeep Wrangler with the first three letters possibly being ECB or EZB for the license plate. The driver of the Jeep was a white female with blond hair, aged late teens or early 20’s.

Icy Road Conditions Contribute to Single Vehicle Crash

On Friday, January 8, 2009 at 2:27 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to the 1300 block of South York Street for a single vehicle accident. During the investigation it was discovered that Monahan was driving a USPS Mail vehicle and hit a icy patch in the road. Monahan then lost control of the vehicle and it came to rest on a roadside embankment. Monahan reported minor injury and was treated by West Shore EMS.

Attempted Robbery at Cumberland Pointe Circle

On Tuesday December 29, 2009 at approximately 2:40pm an unknown black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, which covered his face, approached a male victim in the 700 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle. The male suspect demanded money and made threats toward the victim threatening to harm the victim if his demands were not met. The actor fled the area a short time later. Barricaded Gunman Surrenders Peacefully

December 24, 2009

On Thursday, December 24, 2009 at approximately 11:00 AM, Upper Allen Police responded to Broadmoor Drive for the report of an individual armed with a gun and threatening suicide. Upper Allen Police secured the area around the residence and requested assistance from the Cumberland County Special Response Team. At approximately 2:00 PM, the individual surrendered peacefully to a crisis negotiator. The individual was transported for psychiatric evaluation and was uninjured in the incident.
