On Sunday, May 18, 2014 at approximately 9:15 AM, Bouslama was stopped in traffic on Williams Grove Road due to another crash. Sager was traveling behind Bouslama and was unable to stop and ran into the rear of Bouslama’s vehicle. Bouslama was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital by West Shore EMS for treatment of injuries. Upper Allen Police were assisted by Lower Allen EMS and Upper Allen Fire Police.

On Sunday, May 18, 2014 at approximately 8:15 AM, Hockley proceeded through a stop sign on Diehl Road at Williams Grove Road and into the path of a tractor-trailer operated by Bittle. After being hit by the truck, Hockley struck a guard rail at the intersection of Williams Grove Road and Sinclair Road. Hockley was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital by West Shore EMS for treatment of injuries. Upper Allen Police were assisted by West Shore EMS, Lower Allen EMS, Upper Allen Fire Department and Upper Allen Fire Police.

Identity Sought in Cash from Vending Theft

On May 5, 2014 the individual pictured stole money from vending machines in Upper Allen Township. The man posed as a maintenance person to work on the machines and went in to the break area of two businesses that were open at the time. He then forced entry to several vending machines and stole money from inside. Both businesses are located in the Upper Allen Business Park on Independence Avenue, adjacent to Route 15. The suspect appears to be operating a mid 1990’s to early 2000’s two-tone Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer Edition. It is believed that this same person is responsible for multiple similar thefts in the central PA area. Late Morning Crash on South York Street Injures One

On Sunday, May 11, 2014 at approximately 11:00 AM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a two vehicle crash with injuries in the 1200 block of South York Street. The investigation revealed that Beil, traveling southbound, failed to stop for Calland, who was stopped on the roadway to make a left turn. Beil’s vehicle required towing and Calland sustained injury resulting in transportation by EMS.

Upper Allen Police were assisted on the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police, and West Shore EMS.

Morning Crash Snarls Rush Hour Traffic

On Thursday, May 8, 2014 at approximately 7:40 AM, Upper Allen Police responded to a three vehicle crash with injuries on US Route 15 northbound in the area of the PA Turnpike. The investigation revealed that a juvenile driver was following Dowgiallo’s vehicle too closely. When traffic slowed to a stop due to heavy traffic volumes, the juvenile driver was unable to stop the vehicle, and struck Dowgiallo’s vehicle, which in turn struck Newcomer’s vehicle. The incident blocked the entire left lane and part of the right lane for approximately 45 minutes.

One driver was transported to an area hospital for evaluation of injuries. The other two drivers were not injured. Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen and Lower Allen Fire Departments, Lower Allen and Hampden EMS and Upper Allen Fire Police.

Police would like to remind all motorists to leave adequate stopping distance, especially during times where traffic volumes are heavy and sudden stops and starts are likely.
