Police Seek Information on Home Invasion Robbery

The Upper Allen Police Department is seeking information involving a home invasion in the 1200 Block of East Lisburn Road, Mechanicsburg. On November 19, 2012 at approximately 7:30 PM a male and a female approached the victim at their residence and asked for assistance in changing a flat tire. After a few minutes the original male and a second male re-approached the house and asked to use the bathroom. After entering the residence, the men then proceeded to take the female victim’s purse at knife point before fleeing the residence. The actors left in a red or maroon four door vehicle, possibly a Ford Fusion. Theft of Electronics from Unlocked Vehicle

On Thursday, November 15, 2012 Upper Allen Police received the report of a stolen briefcase from an unlocked vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the main parking lot of Messiah Village, 100 Mt. Allen Drive, Mechanicsburg. The theft occurred during the day, between 12:45 PM and 1:15 PM on Wednesday, November 14th. The stolen briefcase contained a Dell Latitude E5420 laptop (serial number: JQDV451) and a 16 GB, 1st Generation Apple iPad (serial number: GB0454L8Z38). Both devices were black in color. Multiple Weekend Vandalism Incidents Reported

On November 11, 2012, Upper Allen Police received the report of multiple criminal mischief incidents in the Park Ridge development and in the 800 block of Grantham Road, Mechanicsburg. Several residents had windows and glass light fixtures on lamp posts in front of their homes broken or damaged. The damage was likely done with a pellet gun, sometime after midnight. Crash with Injuries on South Market Street

On November 1, 2012 at approximately 7:10 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the intersection of S. Market Street and Shepherdstown Road, Mechanicsburg for the report of a traffic accident. Upon arrival police found a collision had occurred when James pulled from a stop sign on Shepherdstown Road on to South Market Street into the path of Cummings. Martha Cummings had been injured in the crash. Cummings was treated and transported by West Shore EMS for her injuries. The crash resulted in damage to both vehicles, however neither vehicle was disabled.

On October 27, 2012 at approximately 9:20 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of West Lisburn Road at US Route 15, Mechanicsburg. Loffredo, operating a silver 2000 Honda Accord, was traveling west on West Lisburn Road. McDonald, operating a 2006 silver Nissan Sentra, was traveling east on West Lisburn Road. Loffredo failed to yield the right of way to McDonald in the intersection and a collision resulted. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
