On May 22, 2012 at 9:35 AM Destiny Gay was located at a residence in Mechanicsburg, PA in the company of friends. Police also discovered Gay was with another runaway reported missing from Lower Allen Township. Upper Allen Police were assisted at the location of the recovery by Mechanicsburg Borough Police.

On May 21, 2012 Upper Allen Police responded to a single car crash that was reportedly caused by oil on the roadway. Peters was traveling west in the 1200 block of E. Lisburn Road when she lost control of her Ford Focus and struck limestone rock boulders in the front yard of 1201 E. Lisburn Road. The car came to rest on its roof, however Peters was able to crawl out the passenger side of the car. Peters sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.

Upper Allen Police were assisted by the Lisburn Fire Company, Upper Allen Fire Company, Upper Allen Fire Police and West Shore EMS. The roadway was shut down for approximately one hour.

On May 21, 2012 at 7:55 AM Upper Allen Police responded to US Route 15 North in the area of I-76 for a report of a three vehicle automobile accident with injuries. Krnjaic and Benson were traveling in the right lane and were in slow traffic. Callanan failed to slow for traffic and struck Benson from behind, pushing his vehicle into Krnjaics vehicle. Only minor injuries were reported. Callanan was transported by West Shore EMS to the hospital for evaluation. Upper Allen Police were assisted by the Upper Allen Fire Department and West Shore EMS.

Upper Allen Police are currently searching for Destiny P. Gay, age 14, who was last seen in the 500 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle on Sunday May 20, 2012 at 10:00 pm. It is believed that Gay left her home sometime during the night and did not report for school on May 21, 2012. A police investigation is ongoing to locate Gay but her whereabouts are unknown at this time. On May 16, 2012 the Upper Allen Police investigated multiple vehicle break-ins in the parking lot of a commercial business in the 300 block of Independence Avenue. The investigation revealed that the suspect broke windows to gain entry into the locked vehicles and stole items which were easily accessible. Among the items stolen were two smart phones: An HTC Droid Incredible 2 (SN: A100001BD4F96A) and a Samsung Droid Illusion (SN: A000002F6D2C39). Residents and township visitors are urged to remain vigilant about personal security. It is strongly recommended to place all valuable items (electronics, purses, wallets, etc.) out of sight or take them from the vehicle when not in use as well as ensuring the vehicle is secured.
