On April 18, 2012 Upper Allen Police received a report that a piece of equipment was stolen from Black Landscape Contracting in the 1300 block of East Lisburn Road, Mechanicsburg. The theft occurred between 2:00 PM on Sunday April 15, 2012 and 6:30 AM on Monday April 16, 2012. The sod cutter is described as a Ryan brand, dark green, 18 inch that weights approximately 400 lbs. The unit is marked “Taylor Rental” on the side and is similar to the one pictured above. Anyone with information is asked to contact Upper Allen Police at 717-795-2445. On April 12, 2012 at approximately 5:00 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a non-active residential burglary in the Belle Terre apartment complex in the 600 block of Geneva Drive, Mechanicsburg. Police determined the burglary was likely committed between 3:30 PM and 4:15 PM the same date. The actor(s) entered through the apartment windows and destroyed property while doing so. Several items were stolen, including video games and cash. Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to call the Upper Allen Police at 717-795-2445. On April 9, 2012 at 11:20 AM, Upper Allen Police responded to the intersection of Williams Grove Road and Diehl Road where a crash occurred resulting in an overturned sports utility vehicle. The crash occurred when Rigney pulled from Diehl Road onto Williams Grove Road into the path of Arva’s vehicle. The impact caused Rigney’s vehicle to overturn. Rigney was still inside her vehicle when the Police and Fire Department arrived and was safely removed by emergency personnel. There were only minor injuries, but a passenger from Arva’s vehicle was transported to the hospital for precautionary evaluation. Upper Allen Police were assisted by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Mechanicsburg Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police and West Shore EMS.

Upper Allen Police are currently searching for Justice-Azizah Yousef Nassir (“Justice”), age 14, who was last seen in the 600 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 7:30 PM. A police investigation determined Nassir was seen at an event in the 900 block of Vander Avenue, York City over the weekend, but her whereabouts are unknown at this time.
