On January 9, 2022, at approximately 12:45 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of Hawthorne Avenue for an assault. The suspect, Johnny Martinez, had fled the scene prior to police arrival. Following an investigation, it was determined that Martinez punched the victim in the face, causing a laceration and swelling. Police were able to make contact with Martinez who was taken into custody and transported to Cumberland County Central Booking for processing and arraignment.

Mechanicsburg Area Man Arrested Following a Domestic Altercation

On Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 8:49 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Cumberland Parkway for the report of an active domestic. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that there had been a physical altercation during which Cornman struck a female victim in the face. Cornman was arrested and transported to Cumberland County Central Booking for processing and arraignment. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.

Upper Allen Man Arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

On January 5, 2022 Upper Allen Police were dispatched to an active domestic in the 600 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Mohamed Farah was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Farah was arrested at the scene and transported to Cumberland County Central Booking for processing. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.

Morning Crash Injures Mechanicsburg Man

On Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM, the Upper Allen Police discovered a single vehicle crash in the 1700 block of South Market Street. During the crash investigation, police learned that the operator lost control of his Honda CRV in the snow and crashed into the guardrail. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. The operator reported minor injuries as a result of the crash.
