On March 27, 2025 at around 10:00pm, witnesses heard a crash happen on Lake Drive at the intersection of Nursery Drive South. Police arrived to find that a speed limit sign was run over. Evidence suggests that the striking vehicle, that fled the scene, was a Subaru Outback. The front passenger side/headlight area of the Subaru would be damaged. Morning Crash Injures Upper Allen and Perry County Residents

On Monday, March 24, 2025 at approximately 7:50 am, the Upper Allen Police investigated a two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of South Market Street and Kim Acres Drive. The investigation determined the pictured white Mitsubishi SUV was traveling north on South Market Street. The operator disregarded the steady red traffic signal and crashed into the pictured gray Hyundai SUV that was turning left onto Kim Acres Drive from South Market Street. Both occupants of the Mitsubishi and the operator of the Hyundai reported injuries and were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department and Penn State Health Life Lion EMS.

Upper Allen Teen Bicyclist Injured In Evening Crash

On Thursday, March 20, at approximately 6:00 PM, the Upper Allen Police investigated a crash involving the pictured Mini Cooper and bicycle. The investigation determined that the teenager operating the bicycle was waiting to cross Gettysburg Pike from a business driveway in the 200 block. An unknown vehicle waiting to turn left into the business motioned for the bicyclist to cross the road. The operator of the Mini Cooper was in the right lane traveling south on Gettysburg Pike and could not see the bicyclist because of the vehicle in the left-turn lane.

The bicycle crossed into the path of the Mini Cooper, who was unable to stop in time. The impact caused the bicyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, to be thrown off the bicycle into the grass on the side of the road. The bicycle sustained disabling damage and the bicyclist received minor injuries but refused EMS evaluation.

On Sunday, September 1, 2024, Upper Allen Police were called to an apartment complex for the report of a theft from a storage unit. An investigation determined that the defendant, Tina Clegg, took numerous clothing and footwear items belonging to the victim without permission. A warrant was obtained and on January 29th, 2025, the defendant was arraigned on the charges. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for March 6th and the defendant waived her right to a preliminary hearing.

Dog Found in Stonehedge Neighborhood

On Saturday, March 15, 2025 at about 2:30 PM, the dog pictured above was found in the Stonehedge development. The dog is a female with a pink collar but no tags. The dog was scanned for a microchip with no success. Anyone with information regarding the dog’s owner is asked to contact the Upper Allen Police at 717-795-2445.
