Construction Trailers Broken In To At Melbourne Place

On Friday January 15, 2010 at 6:30 AM, employees of a construction company arrived for work and discovered two of their construction trailers were broken in to overnight. Several thousand dollars worth of tools and equipment were taken.

An eye witness saw a vehicle in the area of the trailers at approximately 10:00 PM the night before, Thursday January 14th.

Two Car Crash Yields Minor Injury

On January 14, 2010 at 1:13 PM, Upper Allen Police were called to 360 Independence Avenue to investigate a two car crash. Investigation determined that that a car driven by Cortes-Gonzalez pulled from a business on Independence Avenue and crashed into the side of a car driven by Reynolds. Reynold received minor injury and was taken to Holy Spirit Hospital for treatment. Damage to the cars was minor and both were driven from the scene. Road Rage Leads to Severe Crash on Route 15

On January 12, 2010 at approximately 6:16 AM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to US Route 15 North in the area of West Lisburn Road for a report of an auto accident. Investigation determined that an unknown vehicle was tailgating Smith and then cut in front of her and quickly applied their brake for no reason. Smith applied her brakes in order to avoid striking the vehicle and lost control. Smith hit a concrete barrier, causing her Ford Explorer to overturn and roll several times. Smith was injured in the crash and was transported to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. The driver of the other vehicle did not stop and continued north on Route 15. The vehicle is only being described as a dark colored car, unknown make or model. Evening Residential Burglary in Stonehedge neighborhood

In the late afternoon/evening hours of January 12, 2010 unknown persons forcefully entered a residence in the 300 block of Stonehedge Lane. Once inside, various items belonging to the occupants to include clothing and computers were taken. A white passenger car, possibly foreign made was seen in the area around the time of the burglary and could possibly be involved in the commission of the crime. Police Seek Identity of Hit and Run Driver

On January 8, 2010 at about 5:45 PM, Upper Allen Police investigated a multi-vehicle crash on the off-ramp to Route 114 from US Route 15 south. No one was injured as a result of the crash but it was determined that the driver at fault fled the scene. The driver was last seen driving north on South Market Street. The suspect vehicle is described as being a dark in color Jeep Wrangler with the first three letters possibly being ECB or EZB for the license plate. The driver of the Jeep was a white female with blond hair, aged late teens or early 20’s.
