GPS Unit Stolen from Unlocked Vehicle

On November 26, 2010 the Upper Allen Police Department were dispatched to the first block of Conway Drive for the report of a non-active vehicle break in. The victim reported that a Magellan GPS (serial number 6335711935) and a reusable shopping bag had been stolen from the vehicle overnight. Neighbors reported hearing a suspicious sound just before midnight. Daytime Residential Burglary Reported

On Novemeber 19, 2010 the Upper Allen Police Department was dispatched to the 100 block of of Nittany Drive for the report of a non-active burglary. Upon arrival it was determined that the residence had been entered by force through the garage between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The residence was rummaged through and a several items were stolen. A jewelry box, which was maroon in color with gold trim, and a red 16GB iPod Nano, serial number YM8372HBSBE (similar to the one pictured) were two of the items taken. Two Vehicle Accident Slows Traffic

Gasper was stopped on West Winding Hill Road at the intersection with South Market Street. Gasper was attempting to turn to go north on South Market Street. Gasper pulled from the intersection in to the path of Smith who was traveling south on South Market Street. Gasper’s vehicle suffered severe damage and needed to be towed from the scene. Smith’s vehicle suffered minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene. Neither driver was transported for injuries.

Afternoon Crash Sends One To The Hospital

Braun was traveling southbound on S. Market Street in the 2200 block when she swerved to miss a vehicle that was stopped in front of her to turn left onto Aspen Drive.
Braun then entered the opposing lane and struck a vehicle driven by Shull. The left wheel of Shull’s vehicle came off due to impact and Shull came to rest on the shoulder of the road. Braun suffered a minor injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Shull was not injured.
Police were assisted at the scene by Upper Allen Fire Department and West Shore EMS.
