Afternoon Crash Sends One To The Hospital

Braun was traveling southbound on S. Market Street in the 2200 block when she swerved to miss a vehicle that was stopped in front of her to turn left onto Aspen Drive.
Braun then entered the opposing lane and struck a vehicle driven by Shull. The left wheel of Shull’s vehicle came off due to impact and Shull came to rest on the shoulder of the road. Braun suffered a minor injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Shull was not injured.
Police were assisted at the scene by Upper Allen Fire Department and West Shore EMS.

Police Investigate Thefts from Motor Vehicles

During the evening and overnight of November 4, 2010 into November 5, 2010 several vehicles were entered by unknown persons in the Rosegarden and Melbourne Place developments. Cash, personal items, electronics, and one airbag were stolen from the vehicles. One of the stolen items was a Garmin Nuvi with a serial number of 1VA370662.

Residents are encouraged to lock all vehicles when parked at home, in driveways and on Township streets. Suspicious activity, especially at night, should be reported immediately by dialing 911. Police Seek To Identify Stolen Property

Upper Allen Police recovered the above pictured phone and believe it is related to recent thefts from cars. The thefts occurred in the Rossmoyne RD/Wesley DR area on or about September 29, 2010. The phone has not been identified and police are seeking the owner. Additional property in the form of woman’s perfume, fluoride tablets, utility knife and silver chain necklace were also recovered. Apple Mini Mac Laptop Stolen From Messiah College

On October 21, 2010, Upper Allen Township Police investigated a report of an Apple MAC Mini laptop stolen from Messiah College sometime between October 14, 2010 and October 19, 2010. The laptop was described as being silver in color and has a serial number of C07CV3UYDD6H.
