On July 11, 2011 at approximately 8:00 PM, Upper Allen Police were called to investigate a suicidal subject with a firearm inside a residence in the first block of Sand Dollar Drive, Mechanicsburg. Police were able to establish contact with the subject and the situation was resolved without incident. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Police are continuing their investigation. Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by Carroll Township Police, West Shore EMS and Holy Spirit Crisis Intervention.

On July 6, 2011 at approximately 7:45 AM, Upper Allen Police received a report of a burglary in the 470 Block of Garden Drive, Mechanicsburg. The victim reported that her apartment was entered and a small amount of pain medication was taken during the short period of time she was gone. Police are asking that anyone who observed any suspicious activity or persons in the area to call Upper Allen Police at 717-795-2445 or 717-238-9676. On June 19, 2011 the above pictured female stole a cellular phone from Turkey Hill, 2130 South Market Street in Upper Allen Township. The female entered the store and made her way directly to the back room of the store. The surveillance video depicts this female grabbing the cell phone and leaving the back room. The phone is a white and purple Samsung Comeback’, serial number 355574030775568. Anyone with information about the identity of the individual depicted in these images is encouraged to call Upper Allen Police at 717-795-2445. On July 2, 2011, D’Adamo, the single occupant of a 2011 Honda Accord, lost control of his vehicle while exiting PNC Bank, 91 Cumberland Parkway, Upper Allen Township. D’Adamo’s vehicle struck a landscaping boulder, knocked over a street sign and crossed Cumberland Parkway. His vehicle then drove through a flower bed with large shrubbery before coming to rest on the far side of the parking lot of Mermaid Car Wash, 90 Cumberland Parkway.

D’Adamo was assessed by EMS and refused transport to the hospital. Upper Allen Police were assisted on the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police and West Shore EMS.

On June 29, 2011 Upper Allen Township Police received a report of a stolen Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver, model 66, serial number BFR8421. This Smith & Wesson model 66 revolver is stainless steel with a light walnut grip, similar to the one pictured above. The pistol was stolen from a home in the 1500 block of South Market Street between November 2010 and June 27, 2011.
