On July 2, 2011, D’Adamo, the single occupant of a 2011 Honda Accord, lost control of his vehicle while exiting PNC Bank, 91 Cumberland Parkway, Upper Allen Township. D’Adamo’s vehicle struck a landscaping boulder, knocked over a street sign and crossed Cumberland Parkway. His vehicle then drove through a flower bed with large shrubbery before coming to rest on the far side of the parking lot of Mermaid Car Wash, 90 Cumberland Parkway.

D’Adamo was assessed by EMS and refused transport to the hospital. Upper Allen Police were assisted on the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police and West Shore EMS.

On June 29, 2011 Upper Allen Township Police received a report of a stolen Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver, model 66, serial number BFR8421. This Smith & Wesson model 66 revolver is stainless steel with a light walnut grip, similar to the one pictured above. The pistol was stolen from a home in the 1500 block of South Market Street between November 2010 and June 27, 2011.

On June 27, 2011 Upper Allen Police received a reported theft of a Glock Model 26, 9MM handgun, serial number BVA192. The stolen gun is similar to the one pictured above. The victim reported the gun was taken from a residence located in the 200 Block of East Winding Hill Road between May 1, 2011 and June 27, 2011.

Police are investigating a crash which occurred on June 16, 2011 at approximately 4:45 PM. The crash occurred at the intersection of East Lisburn Road and Mt. Allen Drive. The striking vehicle hit the rear bumper of a 2002 silver Dodge Caravan. There were no reported injuries as a result of this crash, but the driver at fault fled the scene. The suspect vehicle is described as a small light tan or gray sedan with multiple occupants and was last seen driving north on Mt. Allen Drive.

Sometime between 8:00 PM on June 14, 2011 and 7:30 AM on June 15, 2011, graffiti was spray painted on a retaining wall in the 1700 block of South York Street. The retaining wall is owned by the Mechanicsburg Area School District.
