On Thursday, October 31, 2024, Upper Allen Township Police were called to the home of Ramon Leonard after a child was found unsupervised. An investigation determined that Ramon Leonard left the child alone without any care or supervision for an extended period of time. Leonard was arrested upon his return to the home and transported to Cumberland County Central Booking for processing and arraignment. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for a later date.

The Upper Allen Township Police are seeking help from the public to locate Nehemiah Brown. Nehemiah is 13 years of age. He left his family’s residence at approximately 5:30 PM on October 31, 2024. He was last seen wearing an unknown colored shirt, a red and black hat, black jeans, and maroon and white shoes. Nehemiah is described as 5’3″ tall and 130 pounds. He has brown short hair and brown eyes.

Charge:
Retail Theft

In June 2024, Upper Allen Police received a report of shoplifting from a local grocery store. The report received found that a female suspect had failed to pay for items on four separate occasions in April and May 2024 while paying for other grocery items. The investigation identified Morales as the suspect and she was charged with retail theft.

On October 31, 2024, a preliminary hearing was scheduled in this case and Morales plead guilty to the retail theft offense.

On Thursday, October 31, 2024, the Upper Allen Police participated in the township’s Trick or Treat night, patrolling neighborhoods throughout the Township. Upper Allen Officers visited with trick-or-treaters, handed out candy, and gave tours of their patrol cars. The officers enjoyed seeing all the different costumes and truly appreciated the warm reception from our residents. The Upper Allen Police are grateful for the support from our community and for allowing us to take part in another fun and safe night!
