Police Seek Assistance With Locating Hit and Run Vehicle

On Friday, July 1, 2022 at approximately 10:00 AM, Upper Allen Township Police were dispatched for a hit and run crash on Independence Avenue at Gettysburg Road.  The suspect vehicle struck and caused substantial damaged to a stop sign and fire hydrant. Carlisle Woman Injured in Two Vehicle Crash

The Upper Allen Police Department responded to a two vehicle crash on Williams Grove Road at Sinclair Road on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 5:17 PM. The investigation determined that a Hyundai Tucson attempted to turn left onto Sinclair Road and the driver did not observe a Ford Thunderbird approaching from the opposite direction. The Hyundai struck the Ford causing damage to both vehicles. The operator of the Hyundai was treated for minor injuries by EMS personnel. Upper Allen Police were assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS and the Upper Allen Fire Department.

Upper Allen Police Speak About Scam Prevention at Township Church

On Sunday, June 26, 2022, the Upper Allen Police were invited to attend an event held at the Crossroads Community Church. Police spoke to Church members about current trends with internet, phone and personal contact scams and how to avoid them. Upper Allen Police were grateful for the opportunity to attend this event and discussion.

Motorcyclist Injured in Early Morning Crash

On Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at approximately 5AM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a motorcycle crash in the 5000 block of Louise Drive. It was determined that a deer had run into the roadway colliding with the motorcycle. The impact caused the operator to fall from the motorcycle and strike a light pole. The operator was transported from the scene of the crash by Penn State Health EMS.
