Two Lancaster County Women Injured in Evening Crash

On Friday, February 18, 2022, at 5:51 PM, the Upper Allen Police responded to a two vehicle crash on the exit ramp from US Route 15 South to South Market Street. The investigation determined the operator of a Chevrolet Uplander was unable to bring their vehicle to a stop in time for traffic that was stopped ahead. As a result, the Chevrolet Uplander struck the rear end of a stopped Subaru Impreza. The occupants of the Impreza reported minor injuries and were evaluated by EMS at the scene. The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the crash by Lower Allen Township EMS.

Mechanicsburg Man and Harrisburg Woman Injured in Morning Crash

The Upper Allen Police responded to a two vehicle crash on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 9:22 AM on the exit ramp from US Route 15 South to South Market Street. The investigation determined that the operator of a Honda Accord failed to stop for traffic stopped on the exit ramp. The Honda Accord subsequently struck a Honda Pilot. The Honda Pilot was stopped on the ramp behind other traffic. The operator of the Honda Accord was transported by ambulance to Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital for medical treatment. The operator of the Honda Pilot was evaluated by EMS personnel on the scene. Upper Allen Police were assisted on the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department and Holy Spirit EMS personnel.

Morning Crash Injures Steelton Woman

On Saturday, January 29, 2022 at approximately 9:00 AM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to US Route 15 North near the Winding Hill Road on-ramp for a single vehicle crash into the concrete center median. An investigation determined that the icy conditions caused the Honda to spin out while entering onto US Route 15 North from the Winding Hill Road on-ramp. The Honda crashed into the concrete center median head on, disabling the vehicle. The operator complained of head pain and was treated on scene by EMS. Upper Allen Police were assisted by the Upper Allen Fire Department and Penn State Health Life Lion EMS.

Evening Crash Injures Harrisburg Woman

On Friday, January 21, 2022 at 6:00 PM, the Upper Allen Police responded to a two vehicle crash on the exit ramp from US Route 15 North to South Market Street. The investigation determined that a Honda Odyssey was unable to stop as it approached traffic stopped at the traffic signal. The Honda struck a stopped Subaru causing disabling damage to the Honda. The Honda operator complained of wrist pain, but refused medical treatment. The Honda was towed from the scene by Hess Garage.
