On June 7, 2011 at 2:35 PM, Matkovich was turning right to exit the parking lot from 555 Gettysburg Pike onto Gettysburg Pike when she lost control of her vehicle, jumped the the concrete curb and drove down a hill adjacent to the property until she came to a stop at the bottom. Matkovich suffered minor injuries to her left arm and head as a result of the crash. Matkovich was not wearing a seat belt which may have contributed to the cause of her injuries.
Matkovich was not transported to the hospital. Upper Allen Police were assisted on scene by West Shore EMS.
