To enhance public safety during online purchase transactions, the Upper Allen Police Department offers its parking lot and lobby as designated meeting locations. This initiative responds to concerns arising from crimes associated with internet-arranged sales (e.g., eBay, Craigslist).
Please note that police personnel will not participate in the transactions themselves, including verifying identification, inspecting merchandise (such as serial numbers), or mediating payment.
While the station is under video surveillance, it is not continuously monitored. The sale or purchase of firearms is prohibited on police property. The Upper Allen Police Department assumes no responsibility for the quality or authenticity of exchanged items.
The police parking lot is accessible 24/7 for these transactions. The police lobby is available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (excluding holidays).
